This is another of my abstract realism photos that I’m kinda proud of. It looks like an abstract, but it is totally real. It was taken in 2000 during our last visit to Central Park before our relocation back to the Midwest.
I didn’t have to put this picture through any app to make it abstract as it is already in that mode. This full-size Lego statue was found in a Peoria Illinois museum last year. I have always been fascinated by how creative some folks are with these small building blocks. I have several more to show you in future posts.
Anyone care to guess what this is a picture of?
I won’t make you wait because it would then be a very short post. 😅 It is the maneuvering vents of the Space Shuttle now in the Washington DC Museum of History. It seems like yesterday that I saw them but it has been almost 9 years since the last launch. That is ancient history to you Millennials, so I will forgive you if you didn’t have any idea.
This post is to celebrate the SpaceX launch last week. It brought back memories to see it take off from the Kennedy Space Center.
I met this old guy in an Acadian Village in Nova Scotia a few years ago. It is one of my favorite pictures of that month long trip. He peaked his head out of his abode to see who was coming by.
Here is to you my friend. I hope you have survived the Canadian winters since we met.
