About The Boring MIddle

You won’t find much in this topic that is very positive in nature. I must admit that I spent too much of my life trying to fit in instead of celebrating how I was different from others. A big part of that was because of my Aspie traits, I just always felt like I was on the outside looking in. That meant some pretty troubled teenage years and beyond. It would be mid-life before I accepted that I was different, and more importantly that different was a good thing.

Too many in our society are thoroughly entrenched in herd mentality. That is, going along with what everyone else thinks and does instead of finding your own path. To me, lazymindednes is one of the scourges of the world and that usually happens when you go along with the crowd. It spurns domestic terrorists, the MAGA clan and many other such groups.

I suppose I should never say never as there will likely be some stories where the mainstream is a good thing, but they will likely be far and few between…
